Hindsight and all that

Wow.
I sure wish Howard Dean had been our candidate. Which brings up a few feelings in me about our primary process, and the media's roll in that process, particularly this last go 'round... but I'll save that for another day.

Today I want to point towards Mr. Dean's unrelenting pressure on the GOP, and how grateful Dems are, and should be, that someone other than Louise Slaughter and John Conyers are stepping up to do battle with the Dark Side.

Dean this weekend, when asked to respond to some particularly childish rhetoric spewing from Darth Cheney ("he's not the kind of guy I would want running MY party")
Dean responded:

"My view is that Fox News is a propaganda outlet of the Republican Party and that I don't comment on Fox News."

The response drew applause from the room.

Damn right it did.

All hail Howard Dean, the man who finally stepped up and not only bit a chunck out of Cheney's hide, but barked at the MSM as well.
Good lord, it's about time. We're frothing at the mouth, Howard, and we're right behind you. Keep it up.

If you want to support Mr. Dean and his efforts please sign this petition stating that indeed, Howard Dean speaks for ME.
